Business Support Officer Sutton Contract part time 24 hours per week £16.83 per hour. Our client is looking for an experienced Business Support Officer for the Social Care Support Team to deliver comprehensive business support service for Adults and Children’s Social Care, including support of business and social care processes, customer facing support, statutory, formal and multi-agency protection, strategy, missing, legal planning, public law outline, panels, trackers and child sexual exploitation meetings, in accordance to Sutton’s Child and Adult Protection Procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinating meetings including statutory and complex meetings/conferences/reviews/panels/tracking (Adult’s or Children’s).
- Taking minutes: administering full, accurate and detailed minutes of complex conferences/reviews/panels within agreed timescales.
- Using a wide range of IT packages in a business environment to deliver a cost-effective and customer-focused service.
- Working in a detailed task-oriented environment, delivering high accuracy results to excellent standards.
- Using the most appropriate style and method of communication with people at different levels inside and outside of the organisation.
- Managing time effectively, working on own initiative to manage and prioritise own workload, setting appropriate objectives and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Analysing information, considering alternative solutions, and adapting to new ways of working where necessary.
- Providing a customer-focused approach to service delivery and participating in identifying and implementing opportunities for improving the service.
- Exhibiting excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely.
- Undertaking ongoing learning, training and development.
- Working accurately and methodically.
- Understanding confidentiality, data protection and information governance issues and how these are observed and maintained.
