The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager for a contract role in Rugby, paying £358.73 per day PAYE or £500 per day limited via Umbrella Company inside IR35. This position requires an experienced procurement interim to manage a specific end-to-end procurement process, which involves running a compliant procurement for a framework agreement and providing additional support within our People and Resources procurement business partner team.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be MCIPS qualified.
  • Ability to influence in developing and delivering appropriate procurement strategies and solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve optimal commercial solutions while maintaining credibility and supplier relationships.
  • Exhibit professional behaviours of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication at all levels, including senior management, service managers, staff, Members, customers, and contractors.
  • Problem-solving skills to understand differing priorities and devise solutions that achieve value for money while ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring engagement at appropriate times and management levels.
  • Able to plan multiple activities logically, ensuring key deliverables and timelines are identified and appropriate budgets are in place.
  • Extensive working knowledge and understanding of procurement management techniques.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and experience using e-procurement tools to procure, contract manage, and reduce costs.
  • Knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and PA23.
  • Commercial acumen with a sound understanding of economic factors impacting market sectors and approaches to minimise cost pressures and reduce commercial risk.
  • Good understanding of commercial approaches taken by providers.
