Our client is looking for an experienced Weighbridge Administrator.
Location: Docks waste recycling centre - site based role
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 15:30; Friday, 07:30 – 15:00 (37.5 hours per week)
A diligent and reliable Weighbridge Administrator to join our operational team. Working within a collaborative two-person department, you will be responsible for the accurate monitoring and recording of all vehicle movements entering and exiting the site. This role is fundamental to maintaining our operational flow and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Weighbridge Operation: Efficiently operate the site weighbridge system to record vehicle weights and generate accurate documentation.
- Data Management: Maintain precise digital and manual records of all site transactions, ensuring all data is entered into company systems with high attention to detail.
- Traffic Coordination: Direct drivers and contractors upon arrival, ensuring adherence to site safety protocols and efficient traffic movement.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general site administration, including filing, processing documentation, and responding to professional enquiries via phone and email.
The ideal candidate will possess a professional "can-do" attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team. While previous experience in waste management or logistics is advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
