Housing Strategy Officer Kingston Upon Thames Contract £151.56 per day PAYE or £199.31 per day limited paid via umbrella company inside iR35 Our client is looking for an experienced Housing Strategy Officer Typically 2 days in office, 1 day in office, will vary during statutory consultation period This is one of a number of roles we are recruiting for please visit our website colbernlimited co uk The post holder reports directly to the Head of Community Housing and is responsible for supporting the development, consultation and delivery of the Borough-wide Housing Strategy and the Supported Housing Strategy, and also the homelessness and long term rough sleeper action plans. The core focus is to ensure the delivery of key strategy documents in the next 6-9 months, working alongside officers and consultants. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / KRA: Actively contribute to the development, production, and implementation of the Council's housing-related strategies, sub-strategies, and action plans, ensuring homelessness prevention and affordable housing remain core strategic elements, specifically the Housing Strategy, the Supported Housing Strategy and relevant actions plans relating to homelessness and rough sleeping. To arrange and facilitate consultation sessions with a wide range of organisations, members and residents to ensure appropriate consultation has been undertaken and support the work of appointed consultants involved with individual strategies. To lead on the preparation of relevant reports and documents to facilitate the consultation and delivery processes of key strategies, including preparing reports for Council decisions. Collate, interpret and report relevant data sets in developing the required evidence bases for the delivery of housing related strategies. To actively contribute to drafting of actions plans linked to housing-related strategies and lead on arranging working groups/meetings to progress and monitor actions.
