Overview
HR Advisor
Tower Hamlets
Contract • 23.16 per hour PAYE or 30.23 per hour limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35
Responsibilities
- Work with the HR Business Partner and Senior HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive, pragmatic and customer‑focussed HR support, advice and guidance to managers (and where relevant, employees), operating within appropriate human resources strategies, plans and policies to provide timely, accurate and professional HR advice and guidance.
- Provide knowledge and practical application of employment legislation.
- Support interpretation, analysis, and application of conditions of service, HR policies and employment legislation.
- Collaborate with managers on employee relations issues such as sickness, discipline, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, etc.
- Contribute as a proven HR generalist with a good understanding of employee relations matters.
- Engage in consultation with Trade Unions, collective groups and individuals in change situations.
Qualifications
- CIPD Qualified to Level 5 or working towards Level 5 completion, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of interpreting, analysing and applying conditions of service, HR policies and employment legislation.
- Experience of working with managers on employee relations issues e.g., sickness, discipline, grievance, redundancy, TUPE etc.
- A proven track record as a HR generalist.
- Good understanding of employee relations matters.
- Experience of consultation with Trade Unions, collective groups and individuals in change situations.
