Overview
Data Engineer – Brentwood, Contract
Contract – £23.49 per hour PAYE or £30.56 per hour via umbrella company inside IR35. 5 days a week (37 hrs). 8:30am‑5:00pm Mon‑Thu; 8:30am‑4:30pm Fri.
Responsibilities
- Build and expand data infrastructure using MS Fabric technologies.
- Perform data transformation and integration projects.
- Re‑engineer current dated scripts and processes and move them into an MS Fabric environment for transformation, storage and export ready for ingestion into target business applications.
- Use Python for integrations and apply database and data manipulation techniques to move data around.
Qualifications
- Experienced data engineer with Python developer skills.
- Knowledge of database and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with data transformation and integration projects.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid role requiring onsite work on projects as well as remote work.
