Home Enablement Specialist Westminster Contract £18.30 per hour Our client is looking for an experienced Home Enablement Specialist Home Enablement Specialists to join our bank workforce on an as-needed basis. This rewarding role involves supporting some of Westminster's most vulnerable residents by restoring homes to safe, clean and habitable conditions. You will undertake specialist cleaning and decontamination work in properties affected by hoarding, infestations, hazardous waste and other extreme cleaning situations. The role requires a high level of sensitivity, emotional resilience and professionalism. You will work closely with residents and partner agencies to help improve long-term wellbeing outcomes while maintaining dignity and respect at all times. Reporting to the Home Enablement Supervisor, you will be an important part of a multi-agency approach that helps vulnerable individuals remain safe and supported within their homes and communities. This is one of a number of roles we are recruiting for please visit our website colbernlimited co uk Essential Requirements Experience * Proven experience in specialist, industrial or biohazard cleaning environments. * Experience undertaking deep cleans in challenging settings, including hoarded properties, infestations or hazardous environments. * Knowledge of health and safety requirements, including COSHH regulations and PPE use. * Experience working under pressure while maintaining high standards. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Skills * Strong knowledge of deep cleaning, disinfection and safe waste disposal techniques. * Ability to operate specialist cleaning equipment safely and effectively. * Excellent understanding of health and safety practices. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to engage sensitively with vulnerable individuals. * Good organisational and time management skills. * Strong observational skills and attention to detail. * Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills. * Basic IT skills for digital record keeping and reporting. * Experience of working in multi-agency environments. * Commitment to person-centred service delivery. * Full UK Driving Licence. Qualifications The following are desirable and beneficial: * Biohazard Cleaning Certification. * Health & Safety Training, including COSHH Awareness. * Manual Handling Certification.
