Our client is looking for an experienced HR Project Officer. The HR Project Officer undertakes and co-ordinates HR projects on any topic related to the Council's workforce strategy and HR service delivery to meet the Council's business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake and co-ordinate HR projects related to the Council's workforce strategy and HR service delivery.
- Develop HR programmes of work to support activity across the HR team designed to deliver the Council's workforce strategy.
- Manage the project to deliver agreed outputs, ensuring alignment to business and team strategy.
- Manage internal teams to deliver project obligations to time and budget by developing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify, plan for and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Analyse people-related data and provide appropriate analysis.
- Develop plans for undertaking systematic research against specific research briefs.
- Plan the co-ordination and monitoring of the general HR work programme.
- Ensure effective communication of the project aims, objectives, processes and issues to all involved parties.
CIPD qualified or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience is required. A Project Management qualification or equivalent experience of applying project management disciplines is also necessary.
