Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage the delivery of multidisciplinary rail systems across light rail projects within the Midland Metro Alliance (MMA) and Urban Portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant and integrated delivery of signalling, track interfaces, power and communication systems, from design through construction, integration and commissioning.

The role ensures delivery to time, cost and quality, whilst maximizing value and maintaining alignment with Colas Rail and client objectives.

Person Specification

  • Extensive experience in rail / light rail systems delivery across all project phases from inception to construction, T&C and handover.
  • Strong signalling and integration background.
  • Experience in construction and commissioning phases.
  • GRIP/Stage gate lifecycle knowledge.
  • Commercial and contractual awareness (NEC).
  • Leadership and stakeholder management capability.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (desirable).
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (desirable).
