We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable
Sports Coach to join our thriving Sports Department.
Whether you are an experienced coach or at an earlier stage of your coaching career, if you have a passion for developing young athletes and creating engaging sporting experiences, we would love to hear from you.
Working alongside our Director of Sport, you will play an important role in delivering an outstanding games programme for both girls and boys, while supporting the continued development of sport across the School.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions that inspire and challenge pupils of all ages and abilities.
- Create a positive, inclusive and enjoyable sporting environment where every pupil can develop confidence and achieve their potential.
- Adapt coaching to meet individual needs, helping each pupil progress at the right pace.
- Support talented athletes through personalised development plans, working closely with colleagues and parents.
- Promote the highest standards of commitment, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.
- Contribute to fixtures, events and wider sporting activities throughout the School.
- Help champion and promote sport across the Cokethorpe community.
About You
- Has a strong sporting background with coaching and/or playing experience at club, county, regional or national level.
- Is passionate about inspiring young people through sport.
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and external partners.
- Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Brings energy, enthusiasm and a collaborative approach to school life.
