Cokethorpe School is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join its catering team and help deliver outstanding dining experiences for pupils, staff and visitors.
Salary: £27,040 to £29,120 depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: as soon as possible
Contract Options: all-year-round with 6.6 weeks holiday

Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will prepare and present nutritious, high-quality meals for the School community, contribute to hospitality and special events, and help maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and service. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated chef who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding food experiences.
What we’re looking for
- NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach
- Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend events
- Experience in a school or large-scale catering environment is desirable
