We are looking for experienced Telehandler Operators to support our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Sittingbourne. You will operate telehandlers safely to assist with materials handling, lifting and distribution across live construction sites. This is a Holiday Cover role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating telehandlers safely across site to distribute materials and support operations
- Assisting with the lifting and placing of materials and equipment as directed
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicating service requirements to site management in good time
- Maintaining plant to a high standard and reporting any defects immediately
- Working as part of the site team to support programme delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Telehandler ticket
- Proven experience operating telehandlers on live construction sites
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE:
- CPCS / NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS Ride-On Roller
- Safety Critical Medical
- 5+ years of experience operating plant on construction sites
