We are looking for an experienced Tarmac Supervisor to join our team on a busy project in Kent. You will be responsible for overseeing tarmac operations on site, leading gangs, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervising tarmac gangs and overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with RAMS and technical drawings
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials to maintain workflow and productivity
- Leading toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
- Monitoring quality of works to ensure a high standard of finish
- Managing site health and safety, ensuring compliance at all times
- Liaising with site managers, clients and other trades to ensure smooth delivery
- Tracking progress and ensuring works are completed on schedule
- Resolving on-site issues quickly and effectively
- Completing site paperwork, reports and daily records
REQUIREMENTS:
- Gold CSCS Card (Supervisor level)
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid qualification
- Proven experience supervising tarmac works
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to lead teams effectively
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory role
- Experience working on large-scale groundwork or infrastructure projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and teams
