We are looking for an organised and proactive Storeman to manage materials, plant and logistics on a busy project in Sittingbourne. You will control the receipt, storage and distribution of materials and equipment, keeping site operations running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Organising and maintaining materials storage areas, keeping them clean and accessible
  • Distributing materials and equipment to gangs as required
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and reporting low stock to site management
  • Coordinating with the buying team for material orders
  • Assisting with plant and equipment tracking
  • Supporting site logistics and delivery scheduling

REQUIREMENTS:

  • CSCS card with relevant experience
  • Previous storeman or materials control experience on a construction site
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
  • Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

  • CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Telehandler or Forklift ticket
  • Experience using site management software
