About the Role

As our Lead Tarmac Supervisor you will oversee the daily delivery of tarmac surfacing works across a variety of projects. The Lead Tarmac Supervisor will ensure all site operations run smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all tarmac surfacing operations on site as the Lead Tarmac Supervisor
  • Carry out high‑quality hand lay and machine lay operations
  • Build and manage your own team including:
  • Paver Drivers
  • Screwmen
  • Roller Drivers
  • Rake Hands
  • Labourers
  • Coordinate labour, plant and materials
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
  • Deliver projects on time within specification and to company quality standards
  • Liaise with site managers, clients and colleagues as the main Lead Tarmac Supervisor
  • What We’re Looking For

    • SSSTS Roller Ticket & Paver Ticket
    • Proven experience as a Tarmac Foreman / Tarmac Supervisor / Lead Tarmac Supervisor
    • Strong hand lay and machine lay surfacing skills
    • Ability to lead, coach and develop a skilled surfacing team
    • Good communication and organisational skills
    • Proactive and safety‑focused approach
    • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
