ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an organised and proactive Document Controller to join our site team. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day administration of the project, ensuring all site documentation, labour records, plant information and drawings are accurate, up to date and compliant with company and client requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up and maintaining site document control systems at project commencement
  • Managing drawings, revisions, and electronic filing across internal and client platforms
  • Coordinating new starter administration including inductions, RAMS, training records, and system enrolments
  • Maintaining accurate records of site operative hours and updating time management systems
  • Managing plant registers, certifications, inspections, and off-hire processes
  • Maintaining delivery logs and site records for materials, waste, and compliance tracking
  • Raising and tracking site orders through the buying department
  • Liaising daily with clients and site teams regarding deliveries, safety documentation, and compliance updates
  • Supporting site mobilisation at project start-up and coordinating documentation close-out at completion

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a document control or site administration role, ideally within construction
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy site environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently when required
  • Good understanding of site processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with plant tracking systems and site reporting tools
  • Experience with labour tracking or time management systems
  • Understanding of RAMS, inductions, and site compliance processes
  • Previous experience supporting site mobilisation and close-out activities
