We are looking for reliable Groundworkers to join our Internal & External Drainage teams on a busy project in Raynes Park. The role will involve supporting all aspects of drainage installation works including trench preparation, pipe laying support, backfilling, and general groundwork duties to help deliver safe and high-quality projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with internal and external drainage installations
- Supporting drainage gangs with pipe laying, manholes, chambers, and ducting works
- Excavating, backfilling, and trench preparation works
- Trimming stone and maintaining levels as directed by supervisors
- Assisting plant operators and banking machines where required
- Working safely around live services and following permit-to-dig procedures
- Carrying out general groundwork duties associated with drainage works
- Keeping work areas safe, tidy, and compliant with site rules
- Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery and site productivity
REQUIREMENTS
- CSCS Groundworker/Labourer card or equivalent
- Previous experience in groundwork and drainage works
- Ability to work safely as part of a drainage gang
- Able to follow instructions, drawings, and site levels
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- CPCS / NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS Ride-On Roller
- CAT & Genny ticket
- Confined Spaces or EUSR ticket
- Safety Critical Medical
- Experience on residential or commercial groundwork projects
* Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch — we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
