We are seeking experienced Internal Plot Drainage, Internal & External Drainage / External Finishing Groundworkers for ongoing works in Hailsham, East Sussex. The role involves carrying out plot drainage installations, external drainage works, external finishing, and general groundworks to a high standard of safety, quality, and productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Carrying out internal plot drainage installations, including pipe laying, plot connections, inspection chambers, and final tie-ins
- Installing internal and external drainage systems, including foul, surface water, and storm drainage networks
- Completing external finishing works including kerbing, edgings, slab laying, footpaths, driveways, and making good
- Installing, adjusting, and benching manholes, chambers, gullies, and associated drainage infrastructure
- Reading and interpreting drawings, levels, site plans, and specifications
- Working alongside plant operators and site teams to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
- Undertaking remedial works, snagging, and finishing tasks as required
- Using hand tools and small plant safely and effectively
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised working areas at all times
- Following all site health & safety procedures and company standards
- Reporting any defects, issues, or variations to site management
- Proven experience in internal plot drainage
- Proven experience in internal and external drainage works
- Experience in external finishing works
- Valid CSCS Card
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and site specifications
- Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Safety Critical Medical

- Experience operating additional plant and machinery
- 5+ years' experience preferred
