We are looking for a reliable and professional Gateman to control site access and support site security on a long term project in Bristol. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and deliveries, maintaining a safe and organised site entry at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Controlling entry and exit points, checking identification and verifying credentials
- Ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles are permitted on site
- Operating gates and barriers to regulate vehicle and plant flow
- Welcoming visitors, contractors and delivery personnel professionally
- Assisting with material control – verifying delivery receipts and coordinating with suppliers
- Providing support during emergencies including directing responders and assisting with evacuation
- Confident in traffic marshalling duties as required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation around the gate area
REQUIREMENTS
- CSCS / GQA / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) card with relevant experience
- Reliable, punctual and professional manner
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- First Aid at Work Certification
- Traffic Marshall Certification
- Storeman experience
