Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Steel Fixers to join our RC frame teams on a busy project in Bishop's Stortford. You will fix reinforcement steel to drawings and specification, working as part of a skilled gang to deliver high-quality concrete frame construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fixing reinforcement steel to drawings, bar schedules and specifications
  • Reading and interpreting structural drawings accurately on site
  • Cutting, bending and tying rebar using correct tools and techniques
  • Working on slabs, columns, walls, staircases and core walls
  • Working safely in and around formwork and at height
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery

Requirements

  • CSCS Blue Steelfixer card or equivalent with proven experience
  • Confident fixing reinforcement to drawings and bar schedules
  • Able to read and interpret structural drawings
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Harness Awareness Certification
  • Working at Height ticket
  • 5+ years of steel fixing experience on RC frame projects
