Overview

Skilled Groundworker Internals, Externals & Finishing Works. Bonus: Dumper or Roller Ticket. Join Coinford, specialists in groundworks and concrete frames. We are looking for skilled groundworkers to join our growing team and support long-term projects across our sites.

Role Requirements (Essential)

  • Skilled in internal and external groundworks, including finishing works
  • Able to read and work from drawings and site documentation
  • Competent in setting up and using trench boxes, drag boxes and manhole boxes
  • Confident using pipe lasers
  • Experience laying concrete, clay and plastic pipes of all sizes, including correct bedding, surround and testing
  • Able to manage groundwater, including selecting and setting up pumps
  • Knowledge of correct backfilling techniques
  • Experience with manhole benching
  • Confident working around live services and applying service avoidance techniques
  • Skilled in external works: kerbs, edgings, slabs and block paving
  • Strong understanding of materials used in drainage, road build-up, formation and external works
  • Able to complete daily plant checks and report any issues to site management

Desirable

  • CPCS/NPORS tickets (dumper or roller highly desirable)
  • 5+ years experience in skilled groundworks
  • Experience working as part of an established gang or team
