We are looking for skilled drainage professionals to join our growing team and help us set new standards in construction. What Youll Do

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and site documentation
  • Set up and use trench boxes, drag boxes, and manhole boxes safely
  • Install drainage accurately using pipe lasers
  • Lay concrete, clay, and plastic pipes of all sizes with correct bedding, surrounds, and full testing
  • Manage groundwater effectively, including pump selection and setup
  • Backfill trenches and bench manholes to specification and high standards
  • Work safely around live services, applying service-avoidance techniques
  • Deliver external works including kerbs, edgings, slabs, and block paving
  • Apply knowledge of underground drainage, road construction, kerbing, slab laying, and external works
  • Carry out daily plant safety inspections and maintenance checks, reporting requirements to site management

What Were Looking For

  • CSCS Skilled Worker card (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in deep drainage with strong technical ability
  • Ability to work efficiently within drainage gangs or as part of a wider groundworks team
  • Skilled in handling drainage materials, tools, and equipment

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience in groundworks and deep drainage
  • CPCS/NPORS tickets (Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers)
  • Experience leading or working within drainage gangs/teams
