Coinford are specialists in groundworks and concrete frames, delivering high-quality infrastructure projects nationwide. We are currently seeking experienced External Works Operatives to join our teams on long-term projects.
Responsibilities
- Laying slabs, kerbs, and edgings to specification
- Carrying out external drainage works including foul and surface water systems
- General external works and associated groundworks
- Working from drawings, levels, and site specifications
- Installing bedding, backfilling, and completing works to a high standard
- Completing daily plant and equipment checks and reporting any issues
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship
Essential Experience & Skills
- CSCS Card Green or Blue
- Proven experience in external works, including slabs, kerbs, edgings, and drainage
- Ability to work from drawings, levels, and site documentation
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- Good attention to detail and a professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a groundworks team
Desirable (Not Essential)
- CPCS or NPORS tickets (Dumper and/or Roller)
- 3-5+ years’ experience in external works or groundworks
