We are seeking an experienced and reliable Dumper Driver for our Sittingbourne site, supporting internal drainage and external finishing works. The role involves operating plant safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site, ensuring productivity is maintained while upholding high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of a forward tipping dumper on site
- Transporting materials (soil, aggregates, muck, and supplies) to support drainage and finishing works
- Working closely with groundworkers and plant operators to maintain workflow
- Assisting with loading and unloading in coordination with excavator drivers
- Supporting internal drainage and external works teams through material movement
- Carrying out daily checks and basic maintenance of plant equipment
- Maintaining safe working practices in line with site health & safety requirements
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
- Following site instructions, levels, and guidance from supervisors
- Working safely around excavations, live services, and ongoing construction activity
Requirements
- Valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket (CSCS-affiliated)
- Proven experience operating dumpers on construction or housing sites
- Good understanding of site health & safety and safe plant operation
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Right to work in the UK
