We are looking for an experienced Dozer Operator to join our earthworks teams on a busy project in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will operate crawler tractors / dozers to carry out grading, levelling, topsoil stripping and bulk earthworks activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating dozers for grading, levelling, pushing earth or debris and excavating.
- Forming stockpiles, excavating ponds, topsoil stripping and grading public open spaces.
- Grading and levelling ground surfaces to specified elevations and slopes for roadways and building pads.
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks.
- Communicating service requirements to site management in good time.
- Maintaining plant to a high standard and reporting any defects immediately.
Requirements
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Crawler Tractor / Dozer.
- CSCS-affiliated NPORS Dozer Operator card.
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific).
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- GPS machine control experience.
- CPCS / NPORS* Excavator +/- 10t Tracked.
- CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper.
- CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller.
- CPCS / NPORS* Telehandler.
- 5+ years of experience.
