We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a groundwork and RC frame projects acrossSouth East London . You will take overall responsibility for programme, cost, quality and safety across your projects, leading the site management team and maintaining strong client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall responsibility for safe, on-programme and on-budget delivery of projects
- Leading the site management team including engineers, foremen and site managers
- Maintaining and developing strong client and consultant relationships
- Chairing progress meetings and reporting to the board on project performance
- Managing sub-contractors, labour and plant resources to programme
- Commercial awareness – supporting the QS team with variations, valuations and cost control
- Ensuring all health, safety and quality requirements are met across the project
- Completion of IT induction and training programme within the first 1–3 months
REQUIREMENTS
- CITB 5-Day SMSTS or equivalent
- First Aid at Work Certification
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager on groundwork / RC frame projects
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with all stakeholders
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience managing projects £5m+
