Skilled Pipelayer - Deep Drainage Works

Join Coinford, specialists in groundworks and concrete frames. We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Pipelayer to support long-term deep drainage and infrastructure projects across our sites.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in deep drainage and pipelaying works
  • Competent in installing foul, surface water, and attenuation systems
  • Ability to work from drawings, levels, and site documentation
  • Strong understanding of trench support systems, pipe bedding, backfilling, and testing
  • High attention to detail to ensure installations meet quality and safety standards
  • Able to carry out daily plant and equipment checks and report issues to site management
  • Strong awareness of health & safety requirements when working in excavations

Desirable

  • Confined Spaces training (advantageous but not essential)
  • CPCS/NPORS tickets (Dumper or Roller highly desirable)
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in deep drainage works
  • Experience working as part of an established drainage gang or groundworks team

General Expectations

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
  • Able to work collaboratively with other trades to support programme delivery
  • Right to work in the UK
