Join Coinford, specialists in groundworks and concrete frames. We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Pipelayer to support long-term deep drainage and infrastructure projects across our sites.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in deep drainage and pipelaying works
- Competent in installing foul, surface water, and attenuation systems
- Ability to work from drawings, levels, and site documentation
- Strong understanding of trench support systems, pipe bedding, backfilling, and testing
- High attention to detail to ensure installations meet quality and safety standards
- Able to carry out daily plant and equipment checks and report issues to site management
- Strong awareness of health & safety requirements when working in excavations
Desirable
- Confined Spaces training (advantageous but not essential)
- CPCS/NPORS tickets (Dumper or Roller highly desirable)
- 3-5+ years' experience in deep drainage works
- Experience working as part of an established drainage gang or groundworks team
General Expectations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Able to work collaboratively with other trades to support programme delivery
- Right to work in the UK
