Were currently looking for Drainage Operatives to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects. If you\’re skilled, proactive, and ready to contribute to a dynamic workforce, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Valid CSCS Card
- Strong experience in drainage (internal and external), ensuring safe and level areas are created for setting up site drainage systems
- Competent in external works, including slabs, kerbs, and edgings
- Able to dig footings and concrete
- Skilled in banking and working with 360 Machines and Dumpers
- Confident in reading and understanding levels and drawings
- Competent in carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections/maintenance checks and reporting requirements to site management (Dumpers/Rollers)
- Experienced working around live services and applying safe service avoidance techniques
- Proactive and able to manage time effectively
Desirable
- Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets (Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers)
- 5+ years experience in drainage or groundwork roles
- Experienced working as part of gangs/teams
General Expectations
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
- Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site
- Supports programme delivery and project deadlines
- Right to work in the UK
