We are looking for experienced Finishers to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Dartford. You will play a key role in a critical stage of the project, ensuring all Internal & External groundwork elements are completed to specification, on time and to a high standard of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out finishing works to kerbs, edgings, slabs and concrete surfaces
- Ensuring all external works are completed to line, level and specification
- Completing snagging and final quality checks on groundwork packages
- Installing and finishing manholes, covers and frames
- Trowelling, patching and making good concrete and surfaces
- Working from drawings and setting out details where required
- Supporting groundwork teams to bring projects to completion
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Adhering to all site health & safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- CSCS Card (essential)
- Proven experience as a Finisher within groundworks or concrete frame projects
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Good understanding of levels, alignment and finishing standards
- Strong awareness of site health & safety
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) tickets
- Experience in kerbing, paving and external finishing works
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques
- Experience using laser levels or setting out equipment
- Dumper / Roller / Excavator tickets
- 5+ years of experience in groundworks or finishing roles
- Established gangs or teams with a strong track record
