ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Articulated Dumper Driver to join our team across projects in Bishops Stortford. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of articulated dump trucks, supporting site operations and ensuring materials are moved effectively to meet programme demands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating articulated dump trucks safely and efficiently across site
- Transporting materials across varying ground conditions, including rough terrain
- Carrying out daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant
- Ensuring all loads are handled and transported in line with site safety procedures
- Working closely with site teams to support programme delivery
- Maintaining awareness of site conditions and adapting driving accordingly
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
- Adhering to all site health, safety and environmental regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Articulated Dumper Ticket
- HGV Licence with Driver CPC
- Safety Critical Medical
- Proven experience operating articulated dump trucks on construction sites
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE:
- Additional plant tickets (e.g. Ride-On Roller, Forward Tipping Dumper)
- Experience working on large-scale groundwork or infrastructure projects
- Flexible approach to site duties
- Good communication skills and teamwork
