Role Overview
The Mobile Lifting Equipment Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections and testing of various lifting equipment, including heavy plant and lifting machinery, to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The inspector will identify and document equipment defects, malfunctions, and safety concerns, and provide recommendations for repairs, replacements, or maintenance activities based on inspection findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and testing of lifting equipment on-site or in workshops to industry specifications.
- Identify and document equipment defects, malfunctions, and safety concerns.
- Provide recommendations for repairs, replacements, or maintenance activities based on inspection findings.
- Complete necessary paperwork in line with set procedures and industry specifications.
- Assist with repairs and servicing of lifting equipment where required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and regulations.
