ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced Demolition 360 Excavator Operators to join a busy project in

Horsham .

The role will primarily involve the demolition and removal of existing foundations, concrete structures and below-ground obstructions, using 360 excavators fitted with hydraulic breakers and pulverisers.

Applicants must have demonstrable demolition experience and be confident operating demolition attachments safely and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operating 360 excavators to carry out controlled demolition and breaking works
  • Using hydraulic breakers and pulverisers to demolish existing concrete foundations and ground obstructions
  • Breaking out reinforced concrete and existing below-ground structures
  • Working safely around existing structures, excavations, services and other site operations
  • Carrying out daily plant inspections and reporting defects or maintenance requirements
  • Working to site drawings, demolition sequences and instructions from site management
  • Maintaining exclusion zones and following demolition-specific safety procedures
  • Working closely with banksmen, supervisors and other site operatives
  • Following site RAMS and all Coinford health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working area throughout the works

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) 360 Excavator qualification
  • Proven experience operating 360 excavators on demolition and breaking works
  • Demonstrable experience operating hydraulic breakers and pulverisers
  • Experience breaking out reinforced concrete foundations and below-ground obstructions
  • Ability to operate accurately and safely in potentially restricted working areas
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a site team
  • Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

  • Previous experience working on RC frame, groundworks or enabling works projects
  • Experience with a range of demolition attachments including breakers, pulverisers and grabs
  • Experience working around existing foundations and buried concrete structures
  • Additional relevant CPCS / NPORS plant categories
  • Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram.
