We\’re looking for a skilled and proactiveForeman to lead from the front on a range of high-profile construction project. If you\’re passionate about quality, safety, and efficiency—and thrive in a hands-on leadership role—this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You\’ll Be Doing

As a Foreman, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of site operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety and accountability

  • Monitoring and driving high performance and safe working practices among operatives

  • Ensuring plant, equipment, and materials are on site, aligned with the programme of works

  • Implementing safe methods of work, especially around buried services

  • Interpreting site programmes and drawings, and translating them into clear, actionable plans

  • Mentoring teams, helping to maintain quality, health & safety, and production standards

  • Overseeing and coordinating sub-contractors on-site

  • Providing clear communication with clients and site management

  • Applying your expert knowledge in groundworks (drainage, road construction, earthworks, sub-structure concrete, housing slabs, etc.)

  • Identifying and responding to commercial and operational site needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in groundworks supervision or site foreman roles

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety protocols

  • Confident in reading and interpreting drawings and programmes

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Hands-on leader who can engage with and motivate operatives

  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of site cost impacts

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Committed to delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other trades and support delivery goals
