ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in Raynes Park. You will operate 360 tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Digging strip foundations, trenches and bulk excavations to drawings and levels
- Topsoil levelling, type 1 / crush placement and road formation works
- Lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes and trench sheets
- Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground
- Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy
REQUIREMENTS
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator +/- 10t Tracked*
- CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS* Excavator as Crane
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
- 5+ years of experience
