We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Groundworks Handyman with hands-on experience in Dumper operation, square pad preparation, mesh installation, domestic and road drainage, and kerb brace work. You’ll be supporting our finishing teams on a long-term, fast-paced project where your technical knowledge and precision will play a key role in delivering high-quality external works.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out high-quality kerb laying, kerb bracing, edgings, and finishing works
- Assist with block paving, slabs, footpaths, and general external finishes
- Install and prepare square pads, mesh, and associated groundwork components
- Support both domestic and road drainage finishing, including surrounds, backfilling, and minor adjustments
- Operate a Dumper safely and efficiently as required
- Work accurately to levels, lines, and site specifications
- Read and follow basic site drawings and instructions
- Work safely around plant, machinery, and live services
- Keep your area clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Conduct basic daily checks on tools and equipment, reporting issues promptly
