We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in Dover. You will operate 360 tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care. This is a relief driver role for 1-2 weeks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Digging strip foundations, trenches and bulk excavations to drawings and levels
- Topsoil levelling, type 1 / crush placement and road formation works
- Lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes and trench sheets
- Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground
- Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator +/- 10t Tracked
- CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS
- Excavator as Crane
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
- CPCS / NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS Ride-On Roller
- 5+ years of experience
Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
