Build your career and be a part of a great team. We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in Bristol. You will operate 360 tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digging strip foundations, trenches and bulk excavations to drawings and levels
  • Topsoil levelling, type 1 / crush placement and road formation works
  • Lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes and trench sheets
  • Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground
  • Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques
  • Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
  • Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy

REQUIREMENTS

  • CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator +/- 10t Tracked*
  • CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS*
  • Excavator as Crane Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
  • Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

  • CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper
  • CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
  • 5+ years of experience

* Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
