We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in Bognor Regis. You will operate 360 tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care. This is a relief driver role for 2 days.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Digging strip foundations, trenches and bulk excavations to drawings and levels.
- Topsoil levelling, type 1 / crush placement and road formation works.
- Lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes and trench sheets.
- Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground.
- Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques.
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks.
- Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy.
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator +/- 10t Tracked.
- CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS.
- Excavator as Crane Safety Critical Medical (site specific).
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades.
- Right to work in the UK.
- CPCS / NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper.
- CPCS / NPORS Ride-On Roller.
- 5+ years of experience.
