The CX Compliance team ensures our global CX Compliance Operations function is efficient, compliant with regulatory requirements, and delivers high-quality resolutions. As a TMS Compliance Analyst, you will conduct end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations for customers that may lead to drafting and filing a SAR. You will work with functional leaders in the Financial Crime Risk Service line and support functions to maintain production and quality to the highest standard. You will work independently, prioritise multiple tasks with minimal guidance, and seek feedback to drive continuous improvement in compliance handling.

Job details: Remote-friendly in some roles, with in-person requirements as applicable. Location: Bedford, England, United Kingdom; other locations may apply as noted in the job posting.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Investigate AML and fraud-related alerts on the blockchain; write and/or file Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).
  • Conduct investigative reviews and analyses to support Coinbase AML regulatory compliance policies, including alerts from transaction monitoring systems and referrals from law enforcement or other Coinbase lines of business.
  • Analyze transaction activity and KYC information; conduct due diligence research in support of investigations.
  • Document investigations in written narratives.
  • Decide whether activity warrants escalation for additional review and whether it appears suspicious and warrants filing a SAR.
  • Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Remain current with industry standards in KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC and apply requirements to case investigations.

  • Experience with Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, Word.

  • Organized with a high level of attention to detail.

Nice to have:

  • Professional certification in AML or Fraud (e.g. CAMS, CFCS, CFE).
  • Proficient in blockchain analysis (e.g. Chainalysis).
  • Experience in project management, analytics, or vendor management.
  • Advanced degree in business, finance, or CX.
  • Proficiency with Google apps, JIRA, Hummingbird, and Salesforce Service Cloud.

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, and vision).

Pay Range: £55,620 GBP – £61,800 GBP
