What you\âll be doing
Assist with key areas of the company\âs tax controllership and compliance processes, focusing on indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions (India, UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Singapore, Australia and Canada).
Provide advisory support in existing and new jurisdictions.
Execute our global indirectâtax compliance obligations, working with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely returns and payments.
Contribute to indirectâtax controllership processes, helping the company keep pace with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Prepare indirectâtax financial reporting and cash tax forecasts.
Collaborate crossâfunctionally with Finance, Legal and other departments on projects that optimise tax efficiency and compliance.
Perform critical balanceâsheet account reconciliations for indirectâtax GL accounts at the end of each reporting period.
Prepare indirectâtax journal entries during the tax close process for posting.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
Enhance process documentation and procedures for all tasks, supporting continuous improvement.
Stay upâtoâdate with indirectâtax case law and legislative changes impacting the business.
Assist with internal and external audits related to specific indirectâtax responsibilities.
What we look for in you
5+ years of global indirectâtax experience, ideally a mix of Big 4 accounting work and industry exposure.
Significant experience preparing and reviewing indirectâtax returns, including VAT/GST (partial exemption).
Technical tax expertise.
Excellent speaking and written communication skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts to both tax and nonâtax audiences.
Outstanding detailâorientation and processâorientation.
Collaborative, positive attitude.
Willingness to pivot, learn and grow.
Strong analytical, businessâpartnering, problemâsolving and prioritisation skills.
Strong work ethic and teamâplayer mindset.
Nice to haves
CA or CPA.
Experience with Oracle Netsuite.
Crypto industry experience.
Knowledge of India GST.
Pay RangeÂŁ59,400 GBP â ÂŁ66,000 GBP
