Coin Street Community Builders are looking for a new Help Desk Team Member to join the team on a casual (zero-hours) basis.

About the Help Desk Team Member role

We are currently looking to build our casual worker team for the help desk at Coin Street neighbourhood centre to provide cover during busy periods and/or when our permanent team members are away.

This will be a zero hours contract which means that there are no guaranteed hours per month - you may be requested to work on an ad hoc basis, and sometimes at short notice.

As a member of the help desk team for Coin Street Community Builders, you will ensure all visitors and staff receive an efficient and friendly front-of-house service.

You will be based at the mixed-use Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre which includes conference, meeting and training spaces for hire to commercial and local community clients, a family and children’s centre, nursery and our staff offices.

  • As our new Help Desk Team Member, you will
  • Provide an efficient front of house service, including greeting and directing visitors, answering and directing telephone calls and visitors, and taking messages.
  • Provide a positive, prompt, knowledgeable and accessible service to all Coin Street customers, including commercial and residential tenants, stakeholders, users and potential users of the Neighborhood Centre and other Coin Street products and services.
  • Ensure visitors are supported according to the daily schedule.
  • Provide administrative support for colleagues in raising maintenance requests with supporting the facilities team with maintenance requests.
