JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for an engineer or recent graduate to join our team developing high-performance pump lasers for global optical communication networks.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in photonics product development, working across the full lifecycle from concept to manufacturing in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support development and qualification of advanced laser products
- Collaborate with design, process, and packaging engineers to solve technical challenges
- Assist with testing, characterisation, and performance analysis
- Contribute to product improvements and design reviews
- Coordinate verification testing and report results
- Support new product introduction (NPI) with global manufacturing teams
- Help define product specifications and requirements
What You’ll Bring

Essential:
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of photonics, optoelectronics, semiconductors, or lasers
- Experience with experimental work and data analysis

Desirable:
- Programming (e.g. Python)
- Statistical tools (e.g. JMP)

CAD or 3D design (e.g. SolidWorks)
