Join our R&D team as a Laser Development Engineer, working on the design, development and optimisation of advanced ultrafast and CW laser systems. This hands‑on role spans the full product lifecycle—from feasibility and prototyping to detailed design, verification and transfer to manufacturing. You’ll work closely with optical, mechanical, electronics and control‑systems specialists to turn early concepts into robust, manufacturable products. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies for ultrashort‑pulse laser designs
  • Build, test and qualify prototype laser systems

  • Proficiency with optical and electrical test equipment
  • General understanding of electronics and control systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of ultrashort‑pulse physics, mode‑locking, nonlinear optics and dispersion
  • Python programming for data analysis or modelling
  • Familiarity with control systems and circuit‑level debugging
  • Experience with optical modelling tools (e.g., Zemax) or custom modelling
