Executive Administrative Assistant – Industrial

We are looking for an accomplished Executive Administrative Assistant to join our Industrial business group headquarters in Glasgow. This is a varied and visible position supporting the EVP Industrial office and helping senior leaders operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.

Working closely with the Executive Business Partner, you will coordinate complex global diaries and travel, organise leadership meetings and events, support executive visitors and ensure important priorities continue to move forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the EVP Industrial office and help senior leaders operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Previous experience providing administrative or executive support to senior leaders, ideally within a large, complex or international organisation
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex diaries, international travel, meetings, events and expenses
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Confidence using modern digital tools, including ChatGPT and LinkedIn; experience with project-management tools would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with executives, colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Sound judgement and a proven ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent attention to detail
  • The confidence to work independently, make informed decisions and progress tasks with minimal supervision
  • High emotional intelligence, professionalism and a collaborative working style
