We are seeking a highly organised and technically proficient Cover Manager to lead on the operational administration of the Academy's Management Information Systems (MIS) and the daily coordination of staff cover. You will act as the specialist lead for platforms such as Bromcom, ParentPay, and My Child at School (MCAS), ensuring these systems are expertly configured to support curriculum delivery, safeguarding, and parental engagement. A central part of this role involves the intricate management of the Academy timetable and staff absence; you will be the first point of contact for notifications, responsible for arranging high-quality agency supply and internal cover to ensure that teaching and learning remain seamless and undisrupted.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the operational administration of the Academy's MIS and daily coordination of staff cover.
  • Act as specialist lead for platforms such as Bromcom, ParentPay, and MCAS; ensure systems are configured to support curriculum delivery, safeguarding, and parental engagement.
  • Manage the Academy timetable and staff absence; act as the first point of contact for notifications.
  • Arrange high-quality agency supply and internal cover to ensure teaching and learning remain seamless.

Data and Compliance

  • Serve as the Local Data Protection Officer (LDO), upholding GDPR compliance and data security across the Academy.
  • Provide high-level technical advice to Senior Leadership regarding staffing structures and directed time.
  • Support end-of-year system migrations, assist the Exams Officer with complex scheduling, and oversee data subject access requests.
