Responsibilities
- Coordinate learning across all Key Stages, serve as key advisor to the SLT on curriculum development, design and implement rigorous schemes of work and assessments.
- Conduct lesson observations, work scrutiny, and moderation, using data analysis to refine teaching and learning strategies.
- Manage day‑to‑day course provision, staff and resource deployment, and oversee examination entries.
- Support staff development needs and keep the department current with pedagogical advancements.
- Accountable for department results and drive increased student attainment and achievement.
