About The Role
Cohere seeks a dynamic Human Resources Specialist to support our global workforce and drive exceptional employee experiences. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our People Operations team, building seamless processes, fostering a culture of collaboration, and solving complex challenges for our employees worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the go-to resource for employees and contractor employees globally, addressing inquiries with empathy, discretion, and actionable solutions.
- Administer and optimize Cohere’s global employee benefits programs.
- Support Cohere’s new employee onboarding program.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee data in all systems (i.e. BambooHR), ensuring integrity across payroll, reporting, and compliance workflows.
- Develop and deliver impactful programs from benefits refreshers to "lunch & learns".
- Serve as the primary liaison with our Employer of Record (EOR) provider and global legal and payroll teams, ensuring alignment on immigration, compliance, and cross-border employment matters.
- Administer Cohere’s global immigration program, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to navigate legal requirements and support talent mobility.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in a global Human Resources/People Operations role at a fast‑paced rapidly scaling global technology company.
- Experience operating in small, high‑impact teams where adaptability and resourcefulness are key.
- A track record of fast action coupled with a passion for tackling people‑centric challenges with creativity, resilience and speed.
- Exceptional problem solving & detailed administrative skills.
- Communication skills that bridge the gap between teams, cultures, and time zones.
- Track record of thriving in ambiguity coupled with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership & initiative.
