We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term 18‑month contract to work at our 496‑branch pharmacy located at 21 Avenue Road, Seaton, Delaval, Whitley Bay, NE25 0DS.
Shift Pattern
- Monday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous customer service experience is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress toward a recognised Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
