- 11856 - 24 hour - Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – Permanent Contract
We are looking to recruit a 24-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 508 branch located at 68 Dalton Road, Barrow-In Furness, LA14 1JB.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and label prescription items accurately under guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
- Assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
- Contribute to your ongoing training and development to progress within the business.
The proposed shift pattern is as follows
- Monday 09:00-17:30 (30 mins unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday 09:00-17:30 (30 mins unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00-17:30 (30 mins unpaid lunch break)
During in-branch training, you will gain knowledge and skills to progress towards the Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress (Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing).
- Great attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong people skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
